I don't believe coaching is about telling people how to live their lives.
I won't give you the answers. They need to come from you. You know your own life better than anyone else.
You have your own experiences, instincts, values and understanding of your situation. My role is to help you explore them more deeply.
We'll talk. We'll question. We'll challenge assumptions. We may look at things from completely different perspectives.
We might explore your values and beliefs, look at patterns that keep repeating or question something you've always assumed to be true.
Sometimes one question can open up something neither of us expected.
And when it's useful, we'll turn what you've discovered into practical, realistic action.
The direction remains yours. You decide what changes, what stays and what happens next.
"Think of me as a co-pilot. You're still in control of the destination and the decisions. I'm there beside you, helping you read the map, notice what you may have missed and navigate what comes next."
This is the approach I bring through every session, every conversation and every challenge.
You don't need to commit to coaching immediately.
We begin with a free 30-minute chemistry call. It's an opportunity for us to get to know and understand each other, talk about what's happening for you, what you may want from coaching and whether working together feels right.
There's no hard sell and no obligation.
No pressure. Just a conversation.
Pick a time that works for you. No forms, no fuss.
A relaxed 30-minute conversation about what's happening and what you'd like to change.
If it does, we arrange our first session. If not, that's completely fine too.
Sometimes that first conversation is simply about finding out whether coaching is what you need.
Book a Free 30-Minute Chemistry CallContracting is simply the framework for how we’ll work together and what we agree between us.
It makes sure we both understand what coaching involves, what you can expect from me, what I’ll ask from you, and the boundaries that help create a safe, honest and productive coaching relationship.
Before we begin, we’ll talk through things such as confidentiality, our respective roles, how sessions work, what you want from coaching, what success might look like for you, and how we’ll handle things like challenge, feedback and accountability.
It also gives you the opportunity to tell me what you need from me, what works for you and what doesn’t.
Contracting isn’t something we agree once and then forget about. It is fluid and can be reviewed and adjusted at any time, even during a session. It continues throughout the coaching relationship.
We’ll briefly check in at the start of sessions, and either of us can revisit or clarify something if it would help us work better together.
This ongoing contracting sits alongside our written Coaching Agreement. Any formal terms remain in place unless we agree to change them.
Good contracting creates clarity. Clarity creates trust. And trust gives us the foundation for honest, meaningful coaching.
