Coaching isn’t therapy or mentoring, and I’m not here to give you all the answers.
We may look at past experiences, patterns or beliefs when they help us understand what’s happening for you now, but the focus is on where you are today and what you want to change moving forward.
It’s a proper conversation — honest, focused and sometimes challenging — with structure and space to really think. I’ll ask direct, thought-provoking questions, help you look at what’s really going on and support you in working out what comes next.
It's a conversation. A proper one — with structure, honesty
and space to think.
A typical session lasts around an hour. We start with whatever you want to prioritise that day. You may want to pick up where we left off last time, or focus on what's shifted, what's still sitting there and what you want to use the session for. You're in the driver's seat.
Sometimes we'll work through something specific — a decision, a difficult situation, something you've been avoiding or a pattern you keep falling into. Other times, we'll slow things down and look at the bigger picture. Sometimes the water is muddy and you simply can't see the bottom yet.
You won't be set tasks just for the sake of it. Action after our sessions matters. It's where accountability turns into progress. You may leave with something to think about, notice, try or act on between sessions.
Sessions are usually weekly to begin with, although we can agree a pace that works for you. The time between sessions gives you space to reflect, take action and bring something real back to the next session.
What you share is confidential, subject only to the limited safeguarding or legal exceptions we'll discuss when we contract. There's no judgement and no assumptions. You decide what you bring, what you explore and the pace we work at.
