Shifting Life Coaching only collects personal information needed to respond to enquiries, arrange and provide coaching, process payments and administer the business.

Coaching Notes

Coaching notes are kept to a minimum and use a client reference code rather than the client's full name. Simon retains access to the information linking the code to the client.

Notes are normally retained for 12 months after coaching ends, then securely destroyed or deleted, unless there is a legal, insurance, complaint-related or other legitimate reason to retain them longer.

Other business and financial records may be retained for longer where required.

Sharing Your Information

Personal information will only be shared where necessary, legally required or agreed with the client. Individuals have applicable rights over their personal information under UK data-protection law.

You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) about how your personal information is handled.

Ask Shifting (AI Assistant)

Ask Shifting is an AI information assistant. Visitors should avoid providing unnecessary identifying or sensitive information.

Conversations may be temporarily retained by the AI provider for security purposes but are not used to train AI models by default.
